Anchal addresses the exploitation of women by using design thinking - Celebrate @ E2Expo
Anchal Project is a nonprofit social enterprise that addresses the exploitation of women around the world by using design thinking to create employment opportunities, products, and markets that support empowerment. Hence, making the exploited women an integral part of the textile industry. By offering alternatives to dangerous and exploitative work, they help women rediscover their dignity, independence, and creativity in a financially rewarding way.
Anchal empowers women by training them in designing and by employing them in the organization. Their product range includes quilts, bedding, pillows, table linens, home decor, and apparel. This non-profit enterprise relies not only on donations but also on its global sales which makes it financially sustainable in a long term.
