  • The article provides details on various cost-effective energy efficiency technologies that could be applicable for the fabric production process. The major sub-sectors focused include spun yarn spinning, weaving, wet processing and man-made fibre production. 

    The study initially analyses the total energy consumption in the textile industry across the value chain by processes.
