Innovation moonshots for textile sustainability

What could be the innovation moonshots needed to make textiles sustainable?

In May 2016, Nike announced its ambition to double its revenue while cutting environmental impact in half - that would mean its future products would have only about one fourth the environmental impact as its current products - quite ambitious.

In May 2020, Eastman announced it was aiming to perfect a method by which recycling is done at a molecular level, lending to infinite recycling of plastics.

Well, neither perhaps is a super moonshot, but no doubt quite ambitious. What could be the other moonshots that the textile and fashion industry should aim for by 2030?
