Higg Index is a suite of tools that enables textile brands, retailers and facilities to measure the environmental, social and labour impacts of their products and company with accuracy.
Developed by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, a leading alliance for sustainable textile production, the suite can be used by any company irrespective of their size, to improve their sustainable practices. The category of tools included in the suite are product tools, facility tools, and a brand and retail tool.
To build consistency, credibility and comparability of Higg Index scores, SAC has also developed verification programs for each of its tools. The tools also enable to maintain transparency across the value chain.
