The Sustainable Angle is a not-for-profit organization and is the founder of FutureFabricsExpo. They initiate and support projects with a focus on sustainability in Fashion and Textiles and related industries such as food and agriculture. They connect brands and designers with mills, suppliers, and innovators in the fashion supply chain who produce sustainable fabrics and materials with a low environmental impact. Sustainable Angle researches sustainable material alternatives that are commercially available and identifies emerging innovations in the market. They also educate businesses and organizations about making informed decisions regarding the materials used for their products.
Since 2010, their main project, Future Fabrics Expo, has become the largest dedicated showcase of innovative and sustainable material solutions for the fashion industry, with over 5000 materials exhibited to professionals around the world every year.
Through the resources and activities showcased at the Future Fabrics Expo, and via the seminars and workshops held, their aim is for fashion to have a positive impact upon nature and communities and be a vehicle and agent for change — while working with sustainably produced textiles that are safe, renewable, restorative, and apply responsible practices throughout the supply chain.
