Green manufacturing and logistics technologies in textile industry - a systematic approach to implementation

The purpose of this article is to summarize a systematic approach to the implementation and development of green technologies in the global textile industry. It discusses the issues of transition of the global textile industry to an environmentally responsible way of development and suggests that it should be addressed systematically through a comprehensive transformation of manufacturing and logistics components.

It also recommends the development of green transport, to be used in the production and marketing processes in the textile industry.

From the methodological point of view, this article represents a content analysis of empirical, economic, statistical, scientific and theoretical sources that investigate the problem of the global transition to a "green" economy and the use of "green" logistics technologies. The study concludes that interactions with suppliers, contractors and intermediaries by the textile companies is critical to create a system-synergetic effect and ensure transition from the traditional paradigm to the environmentally responsible textile ecosystem.
